04/15/2004: "Maine Insurance Agents Association (MIAA) Convention"
On Tuesday April 6 2004, A friend of mine, Rev Deb from Soul Songs, and Yvonne Harding of MY Angels
and Graceful Guidance went up to the annual Maine Insurance Agents Association (MIAA) Convention at the invitation of Gresham & Associates of Maine, Inc.
This event is held every April and agents from all over Maine and some from other states attend. It is a two day event, Monday is all classes and speakers and Tuesday night is what they call "company night". Each company has a theme and/or certain activities in their "hospitality suite". The theme of our host was "Night of Gresham Gypsies".
Elizabeth True was already there and reading cards when we got in at about 5:30, Parking was not easy, so I ran up while Rev Deb parked, and assisted Liz in keeping things going. Little did I expect that this would be a non-stop deal until 1030. Although, I should have thought about it, from the line that had formed prior to our arrival.
In all honesty, I can only guess at how many readings I did, and I think it was at around 25 – 30. Rev Deb was going full steam with reiki, and Yvonne was going the angel readings. Each of us work a little bit different with types of divinations we do. As far as my own readings went, I had only a few false starts, and everything else flowed well. This was an event I truly enjoyed doing. The flow of people, and energy was great.
Our hosts were great, and very open minded, which is always a bonus in this line of work. Though I dont really recall many names, I want to thank you all for this opportunity to work with you.
