After a frustrating day, trying to get pictures right for the site, I finally decided that the digi cam I have is NOT going to do the job. I didn't expect to need to do close ups like this at the time I got the camera a few years ago... so, I am improvising for the time being. My flatbed scanner seems to be doing the trick ok, for the jewelry I need pics for anyhow. Until I get a good digi cam, I think that will be the best I can do.
